System Specifications
Technical Requirements in Joinery and Façade Systems
- Profiles required by the suggested implementation should be chosen from the system manufacturer’s catalog.
- Production should be made using 6060-6063 alloyed profiles that are suitable for anodic oxidation and that allow exact tolerance designs.
- Leakproof and dust collecting cords should be E.P.D.M.
- Flexible silicon or tiachol-based materials should be used to provide insulation.
- For outside usage, A4 stainless steel visible screws and A2 stainless steel invisible screws should be preferred.
- Heat insulation barriers should be made of polyamide.
- Steel parts for anchors and reinforcement should be galvanized.
Accessory Specifications
- Attached channel sizes and shapes are in accordance with EURO standards that determine systems’ case-wing relations.
- Opening mechanisms such as handles, hinges, dual-axis etc. should be in full compliance with the system and should comprise technical specifications suggested by the system manufacturer.
- Shapes of accessories to be placed in profile slots should be the same as those of profiles.
EPDM CONTA Malzeme Özellikleri ve Avantajları
- Longevity: E.P.D.M. is an indispensable specification of gaskets. There is no alternative to E.P.D.M. when it comes to resistance to physical factors, temperature changes, aging, and other laboratory tests.
- Resistance to ozone: Atmospheric ozone, which normally causes cracks in gaskets, does not harm E.P.D.M. gaskets.
- Flexibility: Rate of deformation due to stretching, buckling, pressing, etc. is minimized in E.P.D.M. compared to other gaskets.
- Resistance to abrasion: E.P.D.M. is more resistant to corrosion caused by friction.
